pixiv girls collection 2011
Presented by pixiv
Published by コアマガジン
161 pages / ¥2,000
Released on 2011/3/31

This book has already been published for a few months and it is one of the annual anthologies presented by pixiv. This one is dedicated to girls only illustrations published during the last year in the website.

They held a contest to decide wich illustrations will be featured in the book and one of the members of C★R, Aiwa, was choosen. The theme of said contests was “girls painting”, so all the illustrations in the book concerning the contest follow this theme.

You can see her illustration in the following link:

It was her first time in a Japan publication and we hope it will not be the last.

It has been a while since the release of this book. Pixiv in association with Kotobukiya and Danny Choo made an international contest to choose the artists who would appear in this 4th volume of OTACOOL, a magazine-book aimed to “otaku” of all around the World.Otacool4-cover

Ninamo and Kenneos (respectively) from this circle had the honour to be chosen as the representants for Spain:

And you can see a full review of the book in Ninamo’s blog here (Spanish only).

Half a year passed since this event, but it was a very special date for us, since it was the first time we published something in Japan and we are still really thankful for this.

Japan Expo: 12th Impact (photos and review)

8 Jul

This was our C★R‘s booth in the last Japan Expo in association with Moe-Luv Circle. More info about what we sold in this entry.

We were selling goods from 9 different Spanish artists and that’s the reason our booth looks so messy and chaotic…;; But people enjoyed it a lot and we made a good cash ~☆. Thank you very much to all the people who came to visit us!! It was a great experience and we hope we can return next year’s Japan Expo!

If you’re interested on buying some of the things exposed in our booth, please stay tunned to our blog, we are planning to open a small online store in a few weeks!
